Misrepresentation

Congratulations Planters. You managed to include one Brazil nut and two pecan halves in a container of mixed nuts that was 70% peanuts and 29 15/16% almonds. At least it was not a lie in the ingredients that stated Brazil nuts and pecans or was it???? What a shame that we expected more from a trusted company that is now not to be trusted like so many others trying to skin the customers. Keep up the good work.

Over cooked cashews

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I buy the lightly salted whole cashews from Amazon quite often. The last time I ordered, the cashews were way over cooked. Not sure how this passed quality control as it is obvious due to color.

Planters mixed nuts are awful. Mostly almonds and peanuts. They are cheap on cashews and more. Unbelievable and how much you charge for these. Planters used to be good. Not anymore.

Lower Quality Standards With The Brand

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Have purchased Planters Products for Fifty years . Seems like when Kraft Foods purchased , the Planters quality went to the wayside ! And I mean the whole line of nuts seem to be sub par . Have talked with Reps on the Phone and on the Internet , get the same response sorry for your displeasure we will send you a coupon for reimbursement ! Have gotten coupon reimbursement for peanuts, cashews and the mixed nut variety . But its still the same low quality standards on roasting and nuts themselves. Sorry Planters and Kraft will look elsewhere for products !!!

Overcooker dry roasted peanuts & lightly salted

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I wrote back in August (2nd and 16th) that there is something different with the taste of the Dry Roasted Lightly Salted. I came to the conclusion that it was overcooked.

I bought another 2-34.5oz containers, and they were okay. Again, I bought another 2-34.5oz and again, they remind me of the discomfort of overcooked peanuts. As I look closer at the peanuts, I can see some of them are burnt. I wrote in one of my earlier stories, that I have grown up eating planters peanuts, for over 40 plus years.

This is one of my addictions. I know I eat too much, so much so, I know I have put on weight, so I have to slow down. It would be great to buy my peanuts and know that they are of the quality that you have given for so many years. It has been disappointing the last 4-34.5 oz.

I expressed my concern that someone should contact me with regards, and have not yet heard anything. Can someone please do something about the quality of your Roasted Peanuts Lightly Salted? Thank you.

Much Appreciated. - Simon.

RUN, DON'T WALK!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts WERE the only brand I would buy for years and years. I haven't had any during Covid lockdown, but I just ordered some from Amazon and I am in SHOCK! They taste absolutely horrible! They tasted rancid even though the best use date is almost a year before they expire. There is no damage to the container, and based on all of the complaints I am seeing here, this is their new normal. OMG! Never again! They are truly that horrible. Maybe the company got Covid and lost their taste buds??? I don't know, but this is shockingly terrible because I use to LOVE Planters.
